Yesterday I learned about divisibility like
 
         Eg. 322 divided by 2 equals 161
322 is divisibility by 2 because it ends in a 2

O'Canada Assignment

In Social Studies we're doing an Assignment about our country's National Anthem.

Math

Today I learned about Divisibility Rules. Like how a number is divisible by 2 if the number ends in 2,4,6,8 or 0 . For example, 22 is divisible by 2.

Hatchet

In Ela we have been reading a book called hatchet the book is by Gary Paulsen what I've learned about the book so far is he went in a bush plane to go to see his father because his father had to do somthing with the rigs. He saw his mom with a nother guy. The pilot died and the bush plane crashed so brian was all alone out in the Canadian wilderness.

The meridian at 0 degrees longitude, laditude from which east and west are reconnected.

 I learned that scientific notation is when you have a number over 10 and make it smaller for example

1 556 000 = 1.556 x 10 to the power of 6

In math we are learning scientific notation . That is like this ~6  600. = 6.6 times 10 to to the power of three .so you move the decimal place how many every  times  so that there is a number between 1-10 before the decimal . And how many times you move it is the power that u get at the 10 .

In Social studies we learned about Eco zones and how they work such as crests of mountains,rivers,and body's of water are Eco zones.

The four natural region boundries are rivers, crests of mountains, coast lines, and bodies of water.

In S.S we learned that the international date line means. It means when you cross the international date line your losing a day or gaining a day.

Canada is separated into 15 land based eco zones and 5 marine based eco zones.

In Canada have 15 distint land-based Ecozones and 5 marine-based ecozones

Yesterday in social studies we learned the four natural boundaries which are: rivers, mountains, coastlines and bodies of water.

What I learned today in S.S

Today we learned that people are the driving force behind change to ecozones! Also, did you know that one natural regional boundary is a river?!

When you guess and check, you look at the question, guess, and check to see if it is correct. If you get it wrong, you just keep trying.

In science I learned that the boiling point for water is 100 degrees Celsius the freezing point is -1 degrees and the melting point is 0

For exponents you multiply the base number by the exponent how ever many times. example: 5 to the power of 6 is  5×5×5×5×5×5= 15 625

Scientific Notation

Scientific notation looks confusing, but it's really easy. Here is an example.

112 000 = 1.12 x 10 to the power of 5. Tge reason there are no zeros is because you don't need them.

I learned that Latitude is imaginary lines on earth drawn east and west; latitude measures are given north and south of the equator.

Today I learned that the most populated political region in Canada is the region of Winnipeg! Winnipeg is also the capital of Manitoba!!

My summer

My Summer was the best i went to Ontario to Hayden's cabin and tubed and knee boarded i almost lost my swimming trucks knee boarding. Tubing Hayden me and his sisters friend flipped the tube. I stayed there for 5 days and we flew there and back. We swam a lot to. I didn't want to go back home I was having so much fun there. I also played hockey a lot this year. In like the middle of  Augest I went to camp with Brycen i met a lot of new friends. My favourite friends I met there are Gabe and Steve. The first night we stayed up till 1:00 in the morning and woke up at 8:00. I wish I have a better summer next year but this was loads of fun!!
